Look at the definition of rightwing extremists:
* (U) Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those
groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on
hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are
mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or
local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may
include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as
opposition to abortion or immigration.
So many of us just stop at the "hate-oriented" adherents definition. Now, I find out that I am a right wing extremist because I believe that state and local authorities do a much better job of governing than the feds do. Although, state and local governments are not immune to the problems that riddle the federal government, at least the focus is local and lawmakers seem to have a greater accountability.
I will not be surprised at how DHS describes churchgoing people. Before we know it, we will be persecuted for worshiping the one true God.

Do you suppose those who favor the 10th Amendment of the Bill of Rights ("The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.") would be classified as right wing extremists?
I believe they would simply because we have a lot of people out there who have not read, and do not even know the Bill of Rights or the Constitution. It is a truly sad state we live in today.
Wow Gina! I had not heard about this or seen it. I don't even have words to express my disdain for this description. Gina, I think many do know the Constitution, but just like the Bible, they have twisted it to their own destruction.
Stan, look at how nasty they are treating the Gov of TX because he reaffirmed his states rights as limited by our US Constitution. They took him to task over that. Then when he asked for Tamiflu to be sent to TX the LEFT WING EXTREMISTS felt the Feds should not since TX wants to have state rights, so let TX die pretty much is their attitude. Ugh!
This is precisely the kind of thing that I feared... and it is already happening!
On one hand I am comforted because we are many steps closer to Jesus coming again, on the other hand I am grieved because we are on the precipice (sp?) of persecution beyond our comprehension.
Hey Gina: Just wanted to get this info to you. I am really sleepy, so I am having a difficult time sorting through this at the moment, but knew it would be of interest to you with this post.

And an article in WND stating the recalled memo, but honestly, without reading the article again after sleeping, I am not sure where it all stands.
