Have you thought about the Babylon we live in today? Our culture is so anti-God and pro-Satan, it makes me shudder. Of course Paul told us this would happen when he wrote to Timothy the second letter:
Can we be more perfect than perfect?
Does this make you angry?
Michelle Obama tells high school students to police family members for racial insensitivity...
It's the headline for a story about a speech Michelle gave last Friday in Topeka to high school students. She tells them segregation still exists, and urges them to watch for any "racially insensitive" comments from their elders and to challenge the person's comment.
This is not the first comment from WH officials that segregation still exists. Eric Holder said the same thing in a graduation speech. It seems to me that the forcing of students to far away school districts so that there would be an equal racial number of students did not work well back in the 70s and 80s. But, judges were adamant, and police enforced it because it was the law. Nothing has changed in that regard since then. So those who have been screaming racism (read that Democrats) are once again taking a bit different tack and adding Unfairness to the mix, when natural segregation over the years has prevailed down through the eons. You can't make people act contrary to their natural inclinations for where to live, what to eat, and sundry other things that humans like to do.
Too many people to count died during prohibition! They knew it was bad, but they did it anyway.
I cannot understand why humans are immune to learning from history.
Then the Elders must be wary of their children's policing. love hump day. Hump day is the pivotal day of the week when you can look forward to the weekend. It's a mid-week perk up day when making plans for the weekend is that energizer boost we all need.
Prejudice is one thing, but being politically correct has gotten to far out of hand that it's flying way up there around Pluto. Hump day! I
Message to all the political correct police: Get over yourself. Put on the shield of tolerance, put on the helmet of generosity, buckle on the belt of truth, yes, but make sure your boots of leeway do not tread on the toes of others.

Don't ignore those signals from God
I have never been more at peace or felt more delight than when I know beyond doubt that I am in the center of God's perfect will for me. That certainty sometimes eludes me, most other times not.
No one understands God's perfect ways or even why God acts in such a way for some and in another way for others. How do we even know for sure we are walking in His will?
We can't see the future. Our feelings are fickle. We can't control other people's decisions. So how do we walk down that specific path God has lighted for us?
We live in a very imperfect world and since we don't control other people, we can't be responsible for their choices [tweet this]. The only alternative we have, then, is to walk the closest we can to the Lord God Almighty and expect Him to turn us from the wrong direction.
We have His guidebook, His Word. We have the Holy Spirit. Combine this with our love for our Daddy and a deep desire to do His will, and it is a fairly reliable recipe for following His will.
It is only when we let our own desires get in the way that we veer off the path and stretch our leading strings. I believe that God allows us an exploratory romp or two down side paths because this is how we learn God's guiding hand on our reins. We learn how to respond. If we don't acknowledge the gentle tug to the left or right or signal to stop, then God will get more urgent and sometimes the bit will dig in and hurt. It isn't God that is causing the hurt, it is the stubborn ignoring of His guiding signals.
We can't walk in His ways unless we know Him. We can't know Him unless we study His Word. We can't study His word unless we take the time. We can't take the time unless we make it a priority. Therefore, priorities are crucial to knowing God's will.
Never allow consideration of doing something that is contradictory to His commands. That part is simple enough. But what do we do with that fleeting thought that flickers through the brain matter, toying with us to consider something that the Holy Spirit immediately flags as sin? When it does register that we've thought something like that, we need to fling it at God's feet. Frankly, that is not easier said than done. If we truly mean to bring God glory that decision must be made before that flickering thought appears. Otherwise we sit toying with an idea which is then a simple matter to follow through with a deed displeasing to God.
Once we've decided, it is easier to do. Once we’ve decided, we are more aware of temptation, (and that, my siblings, is what Satan deplores). He wants us to waver on the cusp of the pit. But, who is stronger? When God is for us, who can stand against Him?
Psalm 37:4 says that when we delight in the Lord, He will grant us the desires of our hearts.
How precious that God gives us our desires when we delight in Him. That means those desires are not harmful. [Tweet This].They are good for us and others. That means that our hearts are pure. What a joy to have a pure heart. That also means that our prayers are righteous and the prayers of the righteous avails much. We have a responsibility to dive into the middle of God's will and to delight in Him.

In case you haven't heard...
Now, while millions of illegal aliens cross into the
U.S. along our southern border, Mexican officials are holding Tahmooressi and
charging him with a "crime" that could result in hard time in a
Mexican prison.
This is outrageous!
And let's be honest ...
Barack Obama and John Kerry will NEVER rise to Sgt. Tahmooressi's defense -- unless citizens rise up and demand it!
It's up to you and me.
This week, Grassfire is launching this national petition to "FREE OUR U.S. MARINE," calling on U.S. officials to pressure Mexico to immediately release Sgt. Tahmooressi. Will you join me in signing this petition so we can help Sgt. Tahmooressi's family to pressure our nation's leaders for his immediate release?

About the father who was arrested...
I have to wonder out loud if this father had not been arrested for "disorderly conduct" would the offensive book have been removed from the classroom?
The dad was arrested for talking longer than two minutes at a school board meeting. He was voicing his displeasure that the school issued a book with a graphic sex scene in it to his 14 year old daughter without his permission.
If he had talked for two minutes then sat down, would the book have stayed in the curriculum? Would the parents of the other students have even know there was a graphic sex scene in the book? Did the school board know? How did they feel about it? Would they have allowed their own children to read the book? Would America have known this kind of practice was even taking place in our "common core" school system?
Jesus promised a long time ago that whatever wickedness was committed it would come into the light. This is an example of that kind of wickedness coming to light.
It is outrageous that young teens are subjected to sexual content and foul language in PG-13 movies. I am appalled that the rating system says what used to be R is now PG-13. Now, instead of reading Charles Dickens or some other classic literature, young teens are handed a foul book to read.
Parents, you are forewarned. The education system is polluted and will pollute your child if you are not paying close attention.
Lord, Jesus, come quickly!

Christian... Family movies make more money
"Ignoring business side in the movie making business." Kevin Sorbo Great interview with Kevin Sorbo who is a Christian and has been for his whole life. How fabulous that a Christian has the strength of character to admit it publicly. He's the star of God is not Dead that cost $2 million to make and has grossed more than $50 million (if I remember the figures correctly.) Sorbo said that Hollywood is ignoring the fact that family movies make more money.
But, hey! This is not new news. I said this same thing back in 2007, and again in think it is real life. But it is not. Another problem is they think they know what America is hungry for (read that more homosexualism in TV and Movies) when they, in fact, have their head in the ground.
2009. It's worth saying again today. Why does Hollywood insist on spending billions of dollars on trashy movies? It is because they live in a trashy kind of environment and they, the producers and directors,
Here are some facts and figures from my column in 2007...
Not one R-rated movie has made a top ten gross since 1995.
According to Numbers.com, a movie statistics website, the movies taking top dollar gross from 1995 to 2007 are PG-13 movies with a whopping $48.55 billion (yes, that is with a B) made from 1,247 movies filmed since 1995. R-rated films come next with a cumalative $34.1 billion made on 2,321 movies (that's and average of $14.7 million for each movie). Next in line are PG movies with 638 films grossing $19.9 billion and finally 207 G-rated films grossing $6.35 billion or average of $30.7 million each. G-rated films grossed more than twice per film what an R-rated film grossed. Does that make sense to you?
Doing a little math, the R-rated movies grossed 30% less than the others, yet more of them were filmed. Not one of them made it into the top ten grossing slots. From 1995 to 2007, eight PG-13 films, four PG films and one G (Finding Nemo) made the number 1 spot for gross dollars culled.
Some would say, oh that's because Mom and Dad take the kiddies to the movies and that's why they make more money. Well... Duh! Some say that G-rated films only fill movie theaters with folks paying half-fare for matinees, which is why movie-makers focus on making the R-rated movies for full-fare payers. However, that is not how the dollars are stacking. You don't have to be the sharpest knife in the drawer to do that math.
In the past 12 years, Americans have spent almost $101 billion on movie tickets. How does one put that in perspective? Crunchweb.net says $84 billion will bury a football field in 55 feet of money. There are 60 seconds in an hour, 24 hours in a day, 365 days in a year, and 1 billion seconds equals 1,903 years.
When you do a little digging, you find out that Executive Producers of films only make about 17 cents per dollar spent on a ticket. Actors, Directors, and Producers actually make about 3 cents per dollar spent on a ticket. And yet, that 3 cents multiplies into a staggering $20 million for an A-list actor like Brad Pitt for one flick. Adjusting for inflation and considering ticket sales, the all time highest money-maker is "Gone With The Wind". The Second Place winner is "Star Wars" and coming in a tight third place is "Sound of Music".
When is Hollywood going to face the music and learn the $ lesson? Why don't theaters and studios learn the lesson?
It does not boil down to greed. If it were all about money, then there would be a lot more family movies being produced. I think it is more about the distorted world view that thinks because of proximity that certain things are true in all of society when it really isn't.
Just because a co-worker uses foul language once in a while does not mean that all workers the world over use foul language. Being exposed to something on a regular basis makes it seem that it is a norm, when it is only the proximity and continual exposure that gives the perception of societal norm. Which is why Hollywood needs to get out of Hollywood in order to see what real life is all about. Look at what the movie-goer is spending the ticket money on and take that as a cue!
Hollywood, we're tired of movies we can't take our kids or grandkids to. Wake up!
