If I had seen it before my husband died maybe I would have been able to pull myself together enough to think of others,to at least be there for my kids. So write on girl it was good.EXSENOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13439855607574342872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14059117.post-1136487881785885782006-01-05T13:04:00.000-06:002006-01-05T13:04:00.000-06:00Thanks, Glory. I want people to know that I'm so much happier in Heaven and I absolutely want the plan of salvation outlined.Refreshment in Refugehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05109290647409291383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14059117.post-1136486906656048192006-01-05T12:48:00.000-06:002006-01-05T12:48:00.000-06:00I have to agree with you, Gina. This is why I believe pastors or funeral directors should comfort the grieving while someone of better fortitude should be host/ess.

Personally, I want a decent worship service and pastor's message at my funeral and then everyone can go someplace like Alfy's for the reception and just relish their own life.

GloryBill & Gloryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06931708115641859239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14059117.post-1136484345531194382006-01-05T12:05:00.000-06:002006-01-05T12:05:00.000-06:00Please forgive me, Exseno. I truly did not have criticism in mind for grieving widows or widowers.

This post was more catharsis on my part because I was completely ignored even by my own daughter. But, the fact is, I am that safe harbor for my daughter. She knows she can count on my unconditional love and can pretty much act any ole way without fear of producing a terrible reaction from me. It hurt, but I'll live and my little paper cut cannot compare to the deep, gaping wounds of a grieving family. So, perhaps this post was not in the best of taste. Please forgive me.Refreshment in Refugehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05109290647409291383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14059117.post-1136478249740143902006-01-05T10:24:00.000-06:002006-01-05T10:24:00.000-06:00I'm affraid I was an uncouth idiot when my husband...I'm affraid I was an uncouth idiot when my husband passed away. I fell apart and stayed that way for a very long time. Went to the cemetery every night for the first year after work. I'm sure everyone thought I was going insane but it was just something that I had to do, it made me feel better.EXSENOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13439855607574342872noreply@blogger.com
